Good news, we may be able to take Christopher out of the orphanage on Wednesday! Our adoption agency is so awesome; they are doing all they can to speed the process up as quickly as possible. It's a far drive to the orphanage in Luga (2 and 1/2 hours without traffic). While there, we will get some important paperwork and go to various administrative appointments. Afterwards, we'll drive back to St. Petersburg and apply for Chrisopher's passport all before the offices close. We would appreciate prayers about this because we want him with us as soon as possible. He needs his parents and to meet his sister Emma. The sooner, the better!
We were able to Skype with Anna, Libby and Sophia tonight (morning their time). The Simon family is taking such good care of them; we are so grateful for them! I'm attaching some pictures they took during our call with them. They could hear us but we could not hear them so we had to get creative; they used a lot of sign language with us (I'm so glad I taught them the ASL alphabet!) and writing notes. They actually know sign language better than us because they have been watching Signing Time videos. It was a lot of fun : )
