She did it!

Sophia learned how to write all of her numbers 0-20 today!!! She's worked so hard on it (totally self-motivated and asked me if she could learn). I "dotted" the numbers first and she traced them and then wrote the numbers herself below. We also counted 19 bee stickers and put them above to show "20" and then she drew the last bee herself (on the top right corner in the box)....so cute!

My little 3-year old just amazes me. She has been coming up with really good questions lately and I love to answer them : ) She's also been answering Daddy's questions about the Bible during family worship! She has a servant's heart too. For example she'll ask us (Mommy or Daddy) if she can get us some cold water and if we say "yes" she'll get it for us herself...so sweet! Thank you Lord for Sophia!

About Us

Our family seeks to honor the Lord Jesus Christ in everything. We love Him because He first loved us. We move regularly with Chad's job and this helps us to remember we are pilgrims here on this earth. We are so grateful for our friends and family in the US and around the world and we enjoy staying in touch (being 1500+ miles apart, this blog especially helps grandparents "see" their grandchildren as they grow up).We also like to share what we are learning, whether it's homemaking skills, homeschooling related, DIY projects, tried and true recipes, or what the Lord is teaching us through His Word. It is not our desire to promote ourselves but to show God's work in our lives and the joy that He gives us as we follow Him. We are sinners saved by grace and we hope that this blog would point you to Christ. May our lives (in our weakness) be a living testimony of God's faithfulness.
