We are very thankful for our church here. The Simon family keeps showing us so much love and threw us a BEAUTIFUL shower. We really appreciate their friendship and had a lot of fun at their house. Many of our friends came and it was a great time. It was an airplane theme as you see a bit below. Also, it was a "family integrated" baby shower and nice to see families together celebrating Christopher's life.

What a fantastic cake that tells the story of Christopher's adoption. Our dear friends, the Haarhoff family worked together to make it. You had to have seen it in person to appreciate the great amount of detail!

Chad giving a speech to thank all of our dear friends for their support as we were going through the adoption process...it brought us tears of joy thinking about the tremendous amount of love that has been shown us.
Emily made this beautiful piece of art for us to show how we (the branches) were grafted into Jesus (the Vine) and how Christopher was grafted into our family in the same way...through adoption! She and her husband are in the process of adopting a beautiful 9 month old little girl from the Ukraine with Down Syndrome...we can't wait to meet her!
