Much to Rejoice about!

It's been such a joy to be back with our church again!  We are so blessed to attend the church that we do and we are learning so much and growing so much for God's glory.
Getting ready to leave for church
This week we are celebrating having Christopher home with us for one year!  Christopher has brought so much JOY to our family.  We thank you dear Father for deciding before the foundation of the world that Christopher (and our daughters) would be a part of our family where he (they) could be loved, hear the gospel and have hope in Christ!

Visiting Christopher in the orphanage the day before he officially became our son last year
(but he was already our son in our hearts)
Home with us for one year now and loving every minute of it!
We're taking somewhat of a year-round approach in school, due to the heat right now.  We're looking forward to doing more outdoor activities when the weather starts to cool down in the Fall.  Anna got an "A" on her big Science test.  We highly recommend Rod and Staff for Science because of their Christian world view and the way they honor God in teaching about His creation.

One huge blessing lately is that our dentist, whom we've been praying for and ministering to (as much as possible during in-office visits and through email) for the past year or so has recently become a Christian!  What makes this even more amazing and miraculous is that she was born into a Muslim family in Iran (which is a restricted nation).  Anna presented her with a Persian Bible and this dear sister is rejoicing in the Lord and so eager to know God's Word more and more.  Her love and joy are so evident as she begins her new life in Christ.  Please pray for her and the huge impact she could potentially have on many friends and family in Iran and here in the US!  Her father is also hospitalized right now and he is not a Christian.  Please pray for his salvation and that God would work all things together for good in this situation.  Below she is allowing Anna to assist her in cleaning Olivia's teeth.

To God be the glory, great things He hath done!
