Christmas Recipes

We had a great time making Christmas tree ornaments and peppermint bark! Recipes here:

Cinnamon ornaments- http://www.mccormick.com/Recipes/Other/Cinnamon-Ornaments

Peppermint bark-constantly stirring, melt white chocolate over low heat, stir in 1-3 tsp pure peppermint extract and crushed candy canes. Pour onto parchment or wax paper and allow to cool. Break up and store in a zip lock baggie.

About Us

Our family seeks to honor the Lord Jesus Christ in everything. We love Him because He first loved us. We move regularly with Chad's job and this helps us to remember we are pilgrims here on this earth. We are so grateful for our friends and family in the US and around the world and we enjoy staying in touch (being 1500+ miles apart, this blog especially helps grandparents "see" their grandchildren as they grow up).We also like to share what we are learning, whether it's homemaking skills, homeschooling related, DIY projects, tried and true recipes, or what the Lord is teaching us through His Word. It is not our desire to promote ourselves but to show God's work in our lives and the joy that He gives us as we follow Him.
